Chennai, May 7 -- BJP leader C R Kesavan on Wednesday slammed the Congress party over its reaction to Operation Sindoor, describing the opposition's remarks as disrespectful to the armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.

He referred to recent comments by Congress leaders Raashid Alvi and Jignesh Mevani, stating that their remarks undermined the morale of the armed forces and disrespected national security efforts.

Kesavan said, "Even at this juncture, the Congress party stooped to its lowest nether... Today, Raashid Alvi demanded proof for Operation Sindoor, and Jignesh Mevani maligned the army using terms like warmongering and fake nationalism."
