Basti, April 14 -- BJP MP Jagadambika Pal, Chairman of the Waqf Amendment Bill Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC), on Monday condemned the recent violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal.

Pal described the incident as "unfortunate" and alleged that Hindus are being forced to leave their homes due to state-sponsored violence. He claimed that a mob attacked a Hindu house, killing a father and son, and injuring 16 police personnel.

Pal further accused the state government of providing protection to Bangladeshis and Rohingyas, suggesting that they are viewed as a vote bank.
