Hyderabad, March 3 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K Kavitha on Monday criticised Telangana government's efforts in connection with the operations to rescue workers trapped in the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel collapse.

Speaking with ANI, K Kavitha said, "This is an unfortunate incident where labourers from many states have been stuck in the collapsed tunnel for many days. The rescue operation could have been carried out with better coordination. I feel the state government did not give in their all."

Kavitha noted that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited the collapse site only yesterday and said he gave a "political" speech.
