Tumkur, April 13 -- Karnataka Home Minister G. Parmeshwara on Sunday stated that a special cabinet meeting has been convened on April 17 to discuss the caste census report.
Speaking to reporters, Parmeshwara said, " A special cabinet meeting has been convened on April 17. The report will be discussed during the cabinet meeting. After the discussion, the government may agree to or reject the report."
Earlier, Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy launched a scathing attack on Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, accusing him of using the caste census as a political gimmick to divert public attention from the Congress government's failures.
