Ballia, Aug. 9 -- Uttar Pradesh Minister Danish Azad Ansari on Saturday criticised Samajwadi Party leader ST Hasan for his controversial remarks regarding the natural calamities in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Hasan sparked controversy after associating calamities in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand with "religious intolerance" and deforestation.

"Mocking such a tragedy doesn't suit the leaders of SP. Even in such a tragic incident, they are conspiring to score politically. This is not appropriate at all. SP leaders should be a little sensitive," Ansari told ANI.
