Indore, April 9 -- After violence broke out in Jangipur area in Murshidabad district during Waqf Amendment Act protests, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav urged the Congress and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to recognize the importance of reforms, apologize, and support measures that would benefit the weaker sections of the Muslim community.

Speaking to the media, CM Yadav stated that the reforms were always aimed at protecting the rights of poor Muslims and addressing the irregularities in the management of Waqf properties.
