Mumbai, April 9 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey said that the extradition of Tahawwur Rana to India is a "step that is better late than never," but it should have been done "earlier."

On Monday, the US top court rejected Tahawwur Rana, 2008 Mumbai attacks accused stay plea which cleared the path for his extradition to India.

Dubey stated that if he had been brought earlier to India, a lot of Pakistani conspiracies would have been uncovered. The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader demanded the death penalty for Rana after the necessary information was extracted from him.
