Patna, June 29 -- Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal strongly criticised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the alleged gangrape incident at South Calcutta Law College on Sunday and said that she is neither worried about the country nor the state.

He accused the TMC-led state government of arrogance and demanded fresh elections in Bengal.

While speaking to ANI, Jaiswal recalled the RG Kar Medical College rape and murder case stating "What happened with the girl student in the medical college shook the whole of Bengal, but Mamata Banerjee did not learn anything from it."

"Mamata Banerjee's arrogance is increasing, and she is worried neither about the country nor of the State," he further said.
