New Delhi, March 19 -- Reacting to the Election Commission of India (ECI) linking Voter ID with Aadhaar card, Congress MP Pramod Tiwari on Wednesday said that it seems that the poll body is correcting its mistake, adding that the decision will bring some restrictions.

"48 lakh (Voter ID) cards were made in Maharashtra during the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, all of which voted for the same party... Many (Voter ID) cards were made on the same (Aadhar) number. This (ECI decision) will bring some restrictions, and we had demanded this... It seems that the ECI is correcting its mistake," Tiwari told ANI.
