Sambhal, Oct. 4 -- District Magistrate of Sambhal Rajender Pensiya on Saturday said that Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) remains in force in the district to prevent unnecessary gatherings of more than five people and to maintain public order ahead of the upcoming festivals.
The District Magistrate emphasised that authorities are taking proactive measures to "ensure communal harmony" and "prevent any disturbances".
Speaking to ANI, the Sambhal DM said, "Sections 163 BNSS continues to be in effect in the district so that five or more people do not assemble unnecessarily. There is peace and harmony here.
