Panaji, March 5 -- Maharashtra SP MLA Abu Azmi's son, Farhan Azmi, expressed sadness over the suspension of his father from the Budget session of the Maharashtra Assembly, saying that he has been suspended for "speaking facts."

"It is sad that my father has been suspended for speaking facts...In the questionnaires of IAS and IPS, it is mentioned about Aurangzeb and Shivaji. My father has quoted this questionnaire. Eknath Shinde has got such a bad pinch that he is trying to hide Dhananjay Munde ji's murderous politics where he has, in broad daylight, apparently, allegedly murdered a sarpanch. But his name is not on the charge sheet...I highly condemn it and I support my father...", he told ANI.
