New Delhi, July 27 -- As the Lok Sabha is set to hold a special discussion on Operation Sindoor on Monday, BJP MP Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the ruling party had never opposed the debate and that it was delayed because the Prime Minister had a planned foreign visit.

Speaking to ANI, Trivendra Singh Rawat said, "On 21st July, it was decided that discussions on Operation Sindoor will take place. Lok Sabha Speaker said that the Prime Minister will go on a foreign visit, so discussions will take place next week. The ruling party has never denied having discussions on this. What should have started on last Monday will now take place tomorrow (Monday)..."
