New Delhi, April 18 -- Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, calling the relationship between corruption and Congress "innate".

He also alleged that the organisation continues to shield its top leadership despite serious corruption allegations.

In a post on X, Maurya said," The relationship between corruption and Congress is innate. The party's two former presidents, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, have serious allegations of corruption against them, yet it is extremely shameful that Congress is defending them."
