New Delhi, June 16 -- BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he received the highest civilian honour in Cyprus, the Grand Cross of the Order of Makarios III, from President Nikos Christodoulides on Monday.

The BJP leader described it as a "proud moment" for every Indian and asserted that the award is a proud recognition of his visionary leadership and India's growing global stature.
