Patna, Feb. 16 -- Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Dilip Jaiswal stressed that there is a need to investigate the New Delhi Railway Station stampede that broke out on Saturday evening. As many as 18 people were killed and many more were left injured in the fatal incident.

"It is a very sad incident. There is a need to investigate this incident. Because of the sudden chaos which broke among the people...smells of a conspiracy..Therefore, an investigation is a must.; The real picture will be clear after the investigation," he told ANI.

In response to former Union Railway Minister and RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's statement, he said, "Lalu has aged now. He himself doesn't know what he says anymore..."
