Kolkata, March 31 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has hit out at the opposition parties after the recent tension and violence in Morhabari.
Speaking at the Eidgah on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr the West Bengal CM said that her government was committed to stopping the "riots". She hit out at the opposition parties in the state, saying that "red" and "gerua" have joined hands.
"We are secular. Navratri is going on; I extend my best wishes for that as well, but we do not want riots to take place. Common people do not involve in such things only political parties do.
