Balanga, Aug. 4 -- Expressing grief over the death of the 15-year-old girl who was allegedly set on fire by miscreants in Balanga, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday said no price or position could ever bring the girl back, and urged people to stop politicising the family's pain.

Speaking to reporters she said, "For the last 15 days, the government is consecutively doing what it was supposed to. We tried very hard to save her. Medicines were brought in from abroad, she was airlifted to Delhi for treatment within 24 hours, and even today, the government stands with her family.
