Gonda, Nov. 12 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Tuesday launched a sharp counterattack on leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, dismissing his fresh allegations of "vote chori" and accusing him of misunderstanding the electoral process.

Responding to Gandhi's claims that the BJP and its allies were allegedly manipulating voter lists and election mechanisms, Singh said the Congress leader's remarks reflected a lack of awareness about ground realities. "Rahul Gandhi is not a campaigner of the Congress but a superstar campaigner of the BJP," Singh quipped while speaking to reporters in Gonda.
