Guwahati, Aug. 7 -- Amid Rahul Gandhi's allegations of "voter fraud" in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday claimed that, leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has given the "certificate" that there indeed should be Special Intensive Revision, accompanied by Aadhaar number.

Responding to Rahul Gandhi's recent press conference in Delhi, where he slammed the Election Commission and accused it of "choreographing" elections, Sarma said, "Rahul Gandhi has given the certificate that there indeed should be SIR, that there should be a unique name accompanied by Aadhaar number."
