New Delhi, Feb. 13 -- After a historic victory in the Delhi assembly polls, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Tarun Chugh on Thursday stated that Punjab will soon be free from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

BJP leader Tarun Chugh said, "The people of Delhi have defeated the lies, deceit, and hypocrisy of AAP-Da (reference to AAP). Now Punjab is also moving on the same path and will be free from AAP-Da," Chugh told ANI.

The BJP secured a landslide victory in the Delhi Assembly election results, which were declared on February 8. The BJP won a two-thirds majority, while the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suffered major setbacks, witnessing a drastic reduction in its numbers in the 70-member assembly.
