New Delhi, Jan. 1 -- BJP MP in the Lok Sabha Bansuri Swaraj on Wednesday offered prayers at the Jhandewalan Devi Temple on the occasion of the first day of 2025 and called for the formation of a double-engine government of the BJP for the upcoming assembly polls in Delhi.

Following her visit to the temple, the BJP MP extended New Year greetings to the public and wished for a government in Delhi that ensures progress for the city as the national capital gears up for assembly polls this year.

"Happy New Year to everyone...I wish that such a government comes to power in Delhi that keeps Delhi on the path of progress. I am leaving after praying for BJP's double-engine government," Swaraj said.
