New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Union Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandaviya said that the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana official portal went live on Monday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the scheme during his Independence Day address on August 15.

Mandaviya said the government had launched a significant job scheme aimed at creating over 3.5 crore jobs in the next two years.

"The Union Cabinet on 1st July, 2025, approved the employment-linked incentive scheme named as Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana.
