Dehradun, April 21 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday slammed Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his remarks in the US and said that when a leader sees no future for himself, he resorts to making such statements.

Speaking to ANI, Dhami said that it is "pointless to comment" on any leader who goes abroad and badmouths the country.

"The public continues to teach such leaders a lesson. When a leader sees no future for himself, he resorts to making such hollow statements at overseas. The Congress party was founded by a British national, and it will be brought to an end by Rahul Gandhi," the Uttarakhand CM said.
