New Delhi, June 2 -- BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal defended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership on national security issues on Monday. Speaking on Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's recent remarks, Khandelwal said that PM Modi is well-equipped to deal with national security threats without needing advice from opposition leaders.

"PM Modi knows better how to deal with the enemies and what strategy should be made for that and we have also seen how our forces defeated the enemies and destroyed them, so certainly PM Modi does not need the advice and consultation of Mallikarjun Kharge or any other leader," Khandelwal told ANI.
