Prayagraj, Feb. 16 -- Swami Shri Adhokshajanand, the Shankaracharya of Govardhan Peeth, on Sunday in a veiled attack against former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav over his remarks on the ongoing Maha Kumbh, saying that such people can't understand the grand event since it belongs to bhakts (devotees). He said that he pities politicians who have such a negative outlook.

"I pity the politicians who have such a negative outlook and give disparaging statements. I pray that God gives them good sense. He has less understanding. Such people can't understand Kumbh. This world belongs to bhakts, and only they can understand it. Is there any other government that has been successful in organising such a huge event?" Adhokshajanand told ANI...
