Mumbai, July 24 -- After the Supreme Court stayed the Bombay High Court's judgment on acquitting 12 accused people in connection with the 2006 Mumbai blasts. Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC on Thursday noted that the perpetrators can not walk away and pose a threat to society.
Speaking to ANI, Shaina NC said, "The Bombay High Court's acquittal of 12 accused in the 2006 Mumbai 7/11 train blast has been shocking. I am glad the chief minister (Devendra Fadnavis) and government opposed the verdict, and the Maharashtra government will challenge it in the Supreme Court... We hope the court will scrutinise further to ensure justice for the victims... They pose a threat to society, and this issue must be addressed seriously and with complete cohesion...
