Moradabad, April 19 -- Samajwadi Party leader ST Hasan on Saturday said that the people who try to gain votes in the name of Hindu-Muslims are responsible for "spreading anarchy", adding that the Supreme Court is "protecting" the Constitution and democracy.

"The people who try to gain votes in the name of Hindu-Muslims are responsible for spreading anarchy. The people who do not like Azaan, Hijab and bulldoze Madrassas are the ones who are doing civil wars and not the Supreme Court...Supreme Court is protecting the Constitution and democracy," Hasan told ANI.

Congress leader Husain Dalwai said that the remarks made by Nishikant Dubey on the Supreme Court is "against the judiciary."
