Pune, Feb. 8 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday lashed out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, labelling him as an "icon of corruption".

He said that the people of Delhi have exposed Kejriwal for indulging in "politics of lies" while showing faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.

"I want to congratulate the people of Delhi for making BJP win in Delhi after 27 years. This is the faith they have shown in PM Narendra Modi's leadership and his work. People of Delhi have also exposed AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for indulging the politics of lies...He became the icon of corruption," Fadnavis told reporters.
