Patna, Sept. 3 -- Bihar Minister Nitin Nabin on Wednesday said that the people of Bihar are deeply hurt by the alleged derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother at a Mahagathbandhan event.

Nabin said the people of Bihar will "avenge this insult."

He said PM Modi has always served the nation like a 'sevak' and earned the love and respect of women through schemes like Ujjwala Yojana and PM Awas Yojana.

Speaking to ANI, Nitin Nabin said, "PM Modi has a connection with the people of the country. He has served them like a 'sevak'. He has increased the respect for women in the country. Be it the construction of 'Izzat Ghar' or Ujjwala Yojana or PM Awas Yojana, he has honoured women with everything."
