New Delhi, July 29 -- BJP leader and Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar on Tuesday slammed the Congress for "accepting the partition", which is a "black spot" in the nation's history.
Majumdar, speaking to ANI outside the parliament, said that Congress was "solely responsible" for the division of the country.
"It is a historical fact that during the independence procedure, Congress accepted the partition, as a result of which Pakistan was created, so Congress is solely responsible for it. It is a black spot in the history of our country... Many mistakes were made by Congress," he said.
