Karnal, April 24 -- Congress MP Randeep Surjewala condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Thursday, saying Pakistan-organised terror acts need to be halted with unity without any political bias and that the culprits should be severely punished.

Speaking to the media, Surjewala said, "This incident deserves as much condemnation as possible... 26 families lost their sons... Pakistan-organised terror acts need to be halted with unity without any political bias... These terrorists must be severely punished so that we can pay condolences to all the lives lost."

Earlier in the day, the Central government convened an all-party meeting to discuss the Pahalgam terror attack.
