New Delhi, Dec. 31 -- Legendary investor Warren Buffett, widely known as the "Oracle of Omaha," will step down as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Berkshire Hathaway today, bringing to a close one of the most extraordinary leadership tenures in corporate history.

Buffett, who turns 95 this year, has led the conglomerate for nearly six decades, transforming it from a struggling New England textile manufacturer into a diversified global powerhouse valued at over USD 1 trillion.
