Patna, Dec. 22 -- The Bihar Governor has condemned the the mob lynching of a Hindu youth, Dipu Chandra Das, in Bangladesh amid widespread violent protests all over the country. Arif Mohammad Khan, on Monday, condemned all forms of oppression, calling for an "end to it."

Speaking to ANI, the Governor said, "Oppression is oppression, no matter who it is inflicted upon. It is reprehensible and cannot be accepted in any way... The world must raise its voice against this oppression and put an end to it..."

Underscoring the United Nations' Charter of Human Rights, Khan said that every individual deserves to be treated as a human being, and any act against them should be called out.
