New Delhi, April 4 -- Samajwadi Party MP Zia ur Rahman Barq said that his party and the whole opposition had stood against the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024 and stated that the only option left is the court as the bill has been passed in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

"We and all the opposition parties have opposed the Waqf Amendment Bill and we need to decide what strategy to adopt next in this regard...This bill has been passed by the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Now, the only option left for us is the court...We will take the next step after discussing with everyone...", Zia ur Rahman Barq said while speaking to ANI on Friday.
