Lucknow, April 22 -- Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Minority Welfare Danish Azad Ansari on Tuesday said that the people of the country are welcoming the One Nation, One Election as the Bill is the need of the "innovative India."

"One Nation, One Election is the need of this innovative India. If this bill comes in, there will be a lot of benefits. It is a great idea, and the people of the country are welcoming it," Ansari told ANI in Lucknow.

UP Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar said that the 'One Nation One Election' is in the interest of the country.

"When elections are held repeatedly, development is hampered, so the government wants simultaneous elections.... The voter lists would be combined in 'One Nation One Election'... Whatever ...
