New Delhi, Feb. 12 -- CPI MP Sandosh Kumar on Wednesday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Paris for the 14th India-France CEOs Forum, stating that it was "not the right time" for such a visit.
He expressed concerns about the state of India's economy, stating that the economy was in "crisis" and that the country's external and internal debt was increasing rapidly.
"This is not the right time. I think the economy is in crisis. India's external and internal debt is galloping like anything... Within five years, the economy is in more crisis, and the fiscal deficit has increased. GDP has also increased," the CPI MP said.
