Lucknow, Aug. 17 -- After her meeting with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi, expelled Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Pooja Pal on Sunday stated that she wanted to work for the welfare of the people, further stating that her meeting with the CM was as an MLA.

"I just met CM Yogi Adityanath as an MLA... I am not sure of what I will do next, but I want to work for my people..." Pal told ANI.

Further making justification to her statement, Pal stated that it mattered on who held the seat of the CM and whether they wanted to work on giving the seat a "clean administration" or just doing politics.

Applauding the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister for his zero-tolerance policy against crime, Pal stated that Adityanath had taken a brave decision.
