Bengaluru, Aug. 18 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Monday launched a scathing attack on the BJP, and said that they have not done even a single small work during their tenure.

Speaking to the media, Shivakumar emphasised that the state government is working to solve problems in North Bangalore and that a new metro line will be ready by next December.

"... By next December, another line (of metro) will also be operational. We have authorised BDA (Bangalore Development Authority) chairman Haris to take this responsibility. So we are working on it. We will see that this problem of North Bangalore will be solved. I am very transparent. For me, work should be done," he said.
