New Delhi, March 25 -- Amid the controversy surrounding the alleged discovery of cash at the residence of Delhi High Court Judge Justice Yashwant Varma, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Saugata Roy on Tuesday emphasised the need for a fair probe on the matter.
The TMC leader addressed the recent developments in the case, noting, "Nobody is considered guilty till there is a proper investigation."
He stated that the Supreme Court had been handling the matter and that it was not an issue to be discussed by politicians.
"The Supreme Court has appointed a committee and transferred the concerned judge to Allahabad High Court. It is not for politicians to debate and discuss this issue," Roy added.
