New Delhi, Nov. 24 -- Union Minister Piyush Goyal expressed condolences over the demise of legendary actor Dharmendra at the age of 89 on Monday.

In a post on X, he remembered his legacy and cited "Sholey" as one of his biggest blockbuster hits. He further stated that Dharmendra incited emotions among movie enthusiasts through various films.

"Today is a very sad day for all of us. Our elder brother, the country's renowned artist, Dharmendra ji, has passed away. Dharmendra ji was also very close to us personally. Whether it was his service to the country as an MP, or his various films, he made us cry and laugh... No one can ever forget Sholay. The more you watch it, the more you enjoy it... I want to express my condolences to his family ...
