Mohali, June 18 -- Punjab Women Commission Chairperson Raj Lali Gill on Wednesday condemned the murder of social media influencer Kanchan Kumari and asserted that no individual has the right to take the law into their own hands.

Gill further said she would be writing to top constitutional authorities seeking action against online platforms which, according to her, are contributing to a deteriorating social environment.

Speaking to ANI, Raj Lali Gill said, "No one is allowed to take the law into their hands... It is work of the police department to take actions according to the law... I am writing to the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, the Chief Minister and the Governor to appeal to ban those online sites which are spoiling the atmos...
