Kishtwar, May 9 -- Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Kishtwar, Shagun Parihar, stated that there is no cause for public concern and assured that the town has a sufficient supply of essential items.

Speaking to ANI on Friday, Parihar said everyone is proud of India's armed forces and will support any decision made by the army.

"There is no need to panic. The Indian armed forces can handle any situation, and Prime Minister Modi is monitoring the entire situation," Parihar said.

"We have adequate stock of essential items. There is no need for anyone to worry. We are proud of our armed forces and we will support any decision taken by the army," she added.
