Saharanpur, May 12 -- After India and Pakistan agreed on the cessation of hostilities, Congress MP Imraan Masood on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should have announced it instead of United States President Donald Trump.
Speaking with ANI, the Congress MP emphasised that there was no way for a third person to enter this discussion.
"It was very shocking for us that our sovereignty would be discussed like this. The Shimla agreement was cornered. The way the US announced the ceasefire by tweeting hurt our sentiments.
