New Delhi, Jan. 20 -- West Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya on Tuesday underlined Nitin Nabin's political maturity and long organisational experience as the latter formally assumed charge as the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Speaking to ANI, Bhattacharya said the people of West Bengal had made up their minds about the party's future direction and leadership. "Nitin Nabin is a mature politician and has been in politics for a long time," he remarked, projecting confidence in Nabin's ability to steer the party at the national level.
