New Delhi, April 3 -- Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda on Thursday praised the passage of the Waqf Amendment Bill 2025 in the Lok Sabha and said that it doesn't interfere with Muslim religious practices, as per an official statement.
Veteran parliamentarian and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda spoke in the Rajya Sabha, strongly supporting the new Waqf Bill. He clarified that the bill does not interfere with Muslim religious practices but strictly deals with revenue and administration matters.
