Gaya, Nov. 11 -- As polling continues for the second phase of the Bihar assembly elections, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Tuesday expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) performance, saying that "around 80 out of 122 seats, NDA candidates will win".
Speaking to the media, Manjhi said, "There was 65% of voting in the first phase of the elections, and we are hopeful that in the second phase too, the voting will not be less than around 65-66%. Around 80 out of 122 seats, NDA candidates will win," he added.
The minister also noted the encouraging voter turnout figures, stating, "As per the information, as of 2 pm, the voter turnout is more than 70%."
