Bhojpur, Nov. 6 -- Powerstar and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pawan Singh on Thursday urged voters to come out of their homes and cast vote in the Bihar assembly elections, stating that he has voted for the sake of development.

"I am going to cast my vote, and my vote is for development. I have voted for development, and now I appeal to the people of Bihar to step out of their homes and vote for the sake of development," Pawan Singh told reporters.

A voter turnout of 13.13 per cent was recorded till 9 am in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, according to the Election Commission of India.
