Geneva, Oct. 1 -- Days after three people were killed following clashes with securiry forces in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), Shaukat Ali Kashmiri, who is the chairman of the United Kashmir People's National Party, said that a "movement has been going" on for the past two years for the "basic rights" of the people.
He noted that political parties have been highlighting the demands of the people from their own platforms, culminating in the formation of the Joint Awami Action Committee.
