New Delhi, March 11 -- DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi filed a notice for a breach of parliamentary privilege on Monday against Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The notice pertains to remarks made by Pradhan in Parliament regarding Tamil Nadu's education system and its stance on the three-language policy.
The controversy erupted when Pradhan reportedly referred to Tamil Nadu MPs as "uncivilised" during a parliamentary discussion. Kanimozhi, deeply agitated by the comments, has called the term "uncivilised" a derogatory and unparliamentary expression.
