Patna, April 12 -- RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday claimed that over three crore litres of liquor have entered Bihar despite it being a dry state. He also questioned the role of the police and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's "continued" silence.
Addressing a press conference, Yadav asked how such volumes of liquor could pass undetected through multiple districts and police checkpoints. He accused the government of not providing direct answers, saying that officials are sent to respond instead.
"More than three crore litres of liquor have come to Bihar. If the police are not guilty, then who is smuggling in Bihar? Doesn't this mean that the police are also involved in this? The opposition is there to show the mirror to the government...
